"From the frozen north come brave, even reckless, warriors. More civilized people call them barbarians or berserkers and suspect them of mayhem, impietry, and atrocities. Vikings are infamous for their raids to neighbouring villages or even lands beyond their homeshores where they pillage, rob, and kill for riches and land."
A viking I doodled up. I like this very much, personally. It came out better than I hoped.
At first I drew it with pencils, but then I wanted to add some colour there, too. I left the pencil work in the pic to give it a sketchy look. It complements the pic nicely.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
